The Technical Center at Le Creusot (71) provides drivers with a hands-on experience unique in Europe. Behind the wheel of vehicles, drivers are made aware of the risks involved in extreme conditions or in the face of the many obstacles lining the circuit. Anticipating or detecting potential hazards, understanding the impact of topography, measuring the limits and performance of their equipment... There's nothing like workshops in real-life situations to have a lasting impact on behavior, and to put into practice the prevention techniques they've learned.

Active behavioral pedagogy
Our Technical Center adopts an immersive teaching approach combining theory and practice, with a clear objective: to raise drivers' awareness of road risks, and improve their driving behavior over the long term.
To achieve this, our teaching teams and instructors combine a modern approach (simulator, virtual reality, e-learning) with a sense of responsibility. The aim of this approach is to make drivers more aware of the risks they run, and the risks they pose to their environment (goods, passengers, other road users, the environment, etc.). This translates into a reptilian approach to training: putting your teams in front of specific scenarios, to anticipate these situations in the context of their activity. This empowerment then enables learners to develop the reflexes essential to adopting safer, more environmentally-friendly and more economical driving habits.
By proposing these exercises to your teams, they will now know who they are in the face of risk.
Training at the center
Equipment tailored to your needs
With the aim of optimizing your experience on our site, the Technical Center is equipped with all the equipment and infrastructure necessary to make it a unique space dedicated to teaching.
To practice on our tracks, your teams have access to
- 8 tractors
- 2 oil rigids (MERCEDES and VOLVO equipped by LAFON)
- 2 tarpaulin carriers (5 seats)
- 1 LAG low-loader oil tanker
- 2 tridem semi-trailers with sliding tarpaulins
- 2 tank semi-trailer units specially equipped for training in driving in difficult situations (Roll-Over)
- 2 light commercial vehicles
These facilities are complemented by teaching infrastructures, enabling our Center to host corporate seminars and other events:
- 5 training rooms
- 1 amphitheatre (for up to 100 people)
- 4 km of track
- 5 driving workshops
- 2 loading bays
- 1 site reserved exclusively for fire drills
- 1 maneuvering platform
- 1 workshop for accident response
