Basic ADR training - Refresher course: the program
Duration:
2 days - 14h
Objectives:
Meet ADR regulatory obligations §8.2 - Dangerous goods road drivers
Renew the Basic ADR Certificate for Road Drivers
Acquire basic knowledge of transporting dangerous goods by road
Update rules concerning marking, labeling, storage, vehicle conformity and documents for the transport of dangerous goods.
BVT's pedagogy :
#1 A multimedia animation
#2 An individual trainee booklet
#3 Written and/or oral application exercises, both individual and collective
#4 Intermediate knowledge acquisition assessments in the form of MCQs
Prerequisites for registration :
Hold an ADR Certificate valid until the end of the course, and be able to read and write French.

What is Basic
ADR Basic Training?
Basic ADR training is compulsory for all drivers transporting dangerous goods by road (above a certain quantity threshold, see Chapter 1.1.3.6 of the ADR). It is called "Basic" because it is a common base for all dangerous goods drivers. It then provides access to additional training:
Basic ADR Training must be renewed every 5 years , enabling you to extend your ADR Certificate. To do this, you need to take part in ADR Basic - Refresher Training.
How to finance Basic
ADR training?
Throughout your working life, you accumulate training rights that can be used at any time in your career, regardless of your sector of activity: these funds are stored in your Personal Training Account. You can contribute between €5,000 and €8,000 (for the least qualified and/or disabled), depending on your profile, and this fund is regenerated every year if you have not reached this ceiling.
BVT enables you to finance your ADR - Transport de Marchandises Dangereuses - training courses by mobilizing the funds accumulated on your CPF. Of course, other sources of funding remain possible: Pôle Emploi, your employer...
